The JWS55 handheld acoustic imager developed by Zhongke Juwei is a specialized device that uses a microphone array to measure sound field distribution within a defined area. It enables passive measurement of sound source positions and radiation intensity, and generates intuitive sound field visualizations via color cloud maps, namely acoustic imaging measurement.
Beyond core sound localization and visualization capabilities offered by conventional acoustic cameras, this detector supports targeted inspection and analysis for partial discharge (PD) faults and compressed gas leakage scenarios.
The instrument covers both audible sound and ultrasonic frequency bands, supporting sound source localization, abnormal sound testing, and real-time trajectory tracking of sound sources. It delivers superior detection performance for steady-state or highly transient sound sources, as well as stationary and moving objects. Its primary application scenarios include compressed gas leakage inspection and partial discharge detection for high-voltage power equipment.
